Fiza Ali fires back at Zain Hamid over ‘Good Riddance’ post about Nimra Khan
Pakistani actress and host Fiza Ali has stepped forward in support of Nimra Khan amid the actress’ highly discussed divorce from Zain Hamid, criticizing the public remarks and celebratory tone surrounding their separation.
In a passionate video shared on Instagram, Fiza expressed frustration over what she described as repeated public declarations and disrespectful remarks about the divorce.
Zain had announced their separation on social media, stating that he divorced Nimra on July 17. His posts also included phrases such as “Finally at peace” and “Good riddance,” which drew considerable attention online.
Reacting to post, Fiza questioned how turning the pain of someone he had called his wife into a public celebration could be considered manly. She stressed that divorce is not a trophy to be repeatedly displayed or used to humiliate the other person.
Referring to Islamic teachings, Fiza reminded people that even during separation, kindness, dignity and respect should be maintained.
Fiza further reassured Nimra that divorce is not a woman’s defeat and that the end of a relationship does not determine her worth.
The post quickly gained massive traction across social media. The emotional exchange also continued in the comments section of video, where Nimra Khan responded with sad emojis.
Fiza replied with emotional and heartbroken emojis of her own, showing her support for Nimra during the difficult time.
Meanwhile, Zain Hamid’s Instagram account is now private, while Nimra Khan has also removed pictures featuring Zain from her Instagram handle.
