Heavy rain and hailstorms lash Karachi

Heavy rain and hailstorms with thunder and lightning, hit several parts of Karachi on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

According to officials, rain was reported in Maripur, Mochko, Gulistan-e-Johar, Federal B Area, Malir, Liaquatabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and University Road, according to officials. Hailstorms were reported in the airport area, Malir Cantt, Gulistan-e-Johar, and Karimabad, leading to a noticeable drop in temperature.

The highest rainfall of 20mm was recorded at Jinnah Terminal. Nazimabad received 8.5mm, University Road 5.8mm, North Karachi 2.3mm, Bahria Town 2mm, and Old Airport and Surjani Town 1mm each.
