Action against vehicles without M-Tag launched in Islamabad

Authorities in Islamabad have launched action against vehicles running without M-Tag in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

Vehicles without M-Tag are being stopped at checkpoints on three main highways of Islamabad and M-Tags are being installed.

Operations started at 9 Avenue checkpoint, Margalla Avenue and G-14 checkpoints.

Administration teams were present on all three main highways entering Islamabad.

Vehicles without M-Tag will be stopped at the checkpoints and M-Tag will be installed.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza and SP Dolphin visited the checkpoints.

M-tag readers installed at 12 entry points across the city have been activated.

The process of stopping all vehicles entering the city without M-tag has begun.

DG Excise said 24/7 M-tag installation has been started for the convenience of citizens.

The facility of M-tag installation is being provided at 16 points across the city.
