Ishaq Dar dials Iran FM after talking to EU representative
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has held a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi hours after holding a phone call with an EU representative, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a post uploaded on Foreign Ministry’s X platform on Saturday, both the foreign ministers discussed the current situation in Iran and the wider region.
Ishaq Dar expressed hope for peace and stability, and both sides agreed to continue bilateral consultations on matters of mutual interest.

Dar, EU Representative vow to deepen cooperation
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the EU High Representative and Vice-President Kaja Kallas.
Both leaders discussed ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on the recent regional and international developments, including situation in Iran.
Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed the importance of sustained dialogue and engagement between the two sides.
