Karachi transporters announce strike against e-challans tomorrow

Karachi Transporters announced they would hold a complete strike tomorrow (Thursday) against e-challans, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Karachi Transport Ittehad President Tawab Khan said that all public transport will remain suspended.

He said that Deputy Inspector General (DIG) traffic, for example, Dubai-style traffic, but he should know the quality of roads and facilities being provided to passengers.

Tawab Khan said that those challans which are as per law will be entertained, but imposing huge penalties is not acceptable at any cost.

He demanded that all the issues regarding e-challans must be addressed; otherwise, their protest will be expanded to other cities.
