Met Office forecasts mixed weather in major cities
The Met Office predicted light rain in Karachi while the current temperature of the city was recorded at 31 degrees centigrade, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The temperature of Karachi is likely to touch 34 to 36 degrees centigrade, and dusty winds are likely to blow in the city today.
The minimum temperature of Karachi was recorded at 29.5 degrees centigrade. Winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour in the city.
The moisture in the air was recorded at 75 percent. The pollution situation of the city is satisfactory.
Light rain was reported from Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Malir, and the adjacent areas of Scheme No. 33.
The Met Office predicted cloudy weather for Islamabad, as the morning temperature of Islamabad was recorded at 28 degrees centigrade, which is likely to touch 37 degrees centigrade.
Winds are blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers. The Met Office also predicted rain with thunderstorms in Kashmir and the upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Different areas of Gilgit-Baltistan are also likely to receive rain.
Lahore to remain in the grip of hot and dry weather without any chance of rain. The maximum temperature of the city is recorded at 37 degrees centigrade, and the minimum is 28 degrees centigrade.
The winds are blowing at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour. The moisture in the air was recorded at 70 percent.
