Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam (Fazl) chief and Pakistan Democratic Movement President Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday night said that government would fall before December.

Addressing the Gujranwala gathering in Jinnah Stadium, the JUI-F chief said that this is a selected government in the country. He said that the selectors slaughtered the democracy in Pakistan. Now the selectors are too ashamed of the performance of selected government, he added. He said that the incumbent government would never see the upcoming December.

Fazlur Rehman thanked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for arranging a spectacular show under the banner of PDM.

Talking to his supporters, Fazl said: “Today, the ‘ocean of people’ gathered in Gujranwala will remove the fake government. Gujranwala is a city of wrestlers. Now they are in a ring for a fight. They know how to defeat their enemy. We stand firm against the illegitimate government. The government will fall as it has no roots in the public.”

JUI-F Chief Fazlur Rehman said that he respected the national institutions. He said that he had no differences with the establishment as it is our institute. He said that establishment should not intervene in political and other matters except the security one. He said that the institutions should remain neutral to run the country.

Fazlur Rehman said that PDM had started a campaign against the fake government. Now the movement will spread across the country including Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore, he added.

He said that India celebrated when a fake prime minister imposed on Pakistan after the rigged elections of 2018. He said that Pakistan should not act like India by forming Gilgit Baltistan fifth province of the country. He opined that Pakistan should refrain from such tactics.

The PDM president said that IMF prepared the last two budgets of Pakistan which brought inflation to the country. He went on to say that Imran Khan is agent of Israel and America. He bowed before them to serve their purpose. He said that FATF legislation was done on the directives of foreign powers.

He said that the incompetent government destroyed the economy of the country due to their poor policies. They don’t know how to run the country’s affairs, he added.

He said that he wanted to save the constitution, democracy and Islamic identity of Pakistan. He said that his party always up against sectarianism and hate mongering in the country.

The JUI-F chief said that a new legislation was being done in the assembly regarding Sindh Islands. He said that he would not allow anyone to capture the resources of the provinces. He said that islands are property of the provinces after the 18th amendment. It is a provincial subject, not the federal, he explained. He termed the legislation against the spirit of the constitution.
