Raja Nasir reluctant to become opposition leader in Senate: sources

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWMP) has expressed reservations over his nomination by PTI founder Imran Khan as opposition leader in Senate, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Sources said Raja Nasir said that he was leader of a religious party therefore he will not be able to lead PTI protest campaigns. 

Raja Nasir further added, “I am a representative of a sect and cannot use it for political purposes”. Reservations, sources 

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas had accepted the nomination on the orders of Imran Khan. 

PTI has tasked Senator Ali Zafar to get all opposition senators to sign. Despite all efforts, Senator Ali Zafar has so far managed to get 8 senators to sign in the name of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.
