ACE Lahore summons former CM Pervaiz Elahi on Set 22

The Anti-Corruption Establishment Lahore has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to appear before investigators on Monday in connection with corruption allegations, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday. 

According to officials, Elahi is accused of receiving commissions in various development schemes carried out in Gujranwala during his tenure. 

The anti-corruption department had already called him for questioning earlier today (Wednesday), but he failed to appear before the authorities.

Following his absence, the department has issued a fresh summons requiring him to appear on Monday, warning that further action may be taken if he does not comply with the order.
