Rains destroy cotton crop in Obaro

Rains destroyed crops in Obaro; as a result, farmers lost millions of rupees due to cotton crop damage, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Farmers appealed to the Sindh government to compensate for losses.

On the other hand, Islamabad and the surrounding areas are likely to remain partly cloudy today. 

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places during the night.

Rain is also expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Meteorological Department said.

Heavy rain is possible in Kashmir. Gilgit-Baltistan and the Pothohar region, the Meteorological Department predicted.

According to the Karachi weather forecast, it's likely to be partly cloudy and drizzly today.

The temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 33 degrees. 

The current temperature in the city is a record 27 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is likely to reach 33 degrees.

However, the weather in Lahore is hot and dry with no chance of rain. 

According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity in Lahore will be 84 per cent and the temperature will be 35 degrees Celsius.
