Demand for creating southern Punjab raised 

Political circles in southern Punjab have pinned hope on Hamza Shehbaz for creating a new province to address the longstanding issue, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

Abdul Qayyum Shaheen said every party promised a separate province but the promises have not been fulfilled so far.

He said the people of southern parts demand a separate province from each government and the PML-N has once again got the opportunity to give province to them. 

If PML-N makes South Punjab a province, it will become the favorite party of the region, he added 

Meanwhile, PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz offered fateha as he visited the graves of his grandfather and others, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

Punjab Hamza Shehbaz also met PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz who greeted him on becoming chief minister.
