Islamabad university postpones exams, announces online classes

The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Saturday announced that all classes will be conducted online from April 20 to April 24, according to an official notification.

The university administration confirmed that mid-term examinations scheduled for April 20 and 21 have been postponed. A revised schedule is expected to be issued later.

In addition, IIUI has implemented a four-day working week for non-teaching staff, with offices operating from Monday to Thursday. The notification stated that a work-from-home facility will be provided to 50 percent of the university’s non-teaching employees.

The revised working arrangements, including the four-day week and remote work policy, will remain in effect from April 20 to April 30.

The measures have been introduced as part of administrative adjustments aimed at ensuring continuity of academic and operational activities.
