Security plan finalised for Imran Khan’s hospital transfer in Islamabad

A security plan has been finalised for the proposed transfer of PTI founder Imran Khan to a hospital, police sources said.

According to the sources, personnel from Islamabad Police, Frontier Corps and Rangers will be deployed at the hospital as part of the security arrangements.

Prison administration personnel will be responsible for security inside and around Imran Khan’s hospital room.

The sources said jail rules will remain applicable in the hospital room during his stay.

Security officials and the prison administration have already inspected the hospital and the designated room, and arrangements have been completed following a security review.

Personnel from security agencies and the prison administration will remain deployed at the hospital during the PTI founder’s stay, the sources said.
