Wanted drug trafficker held by PCNF in D G Khan

The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (PCNF) on Monday claimed to have arrested an alleged notorious drug smuggler and seized 60 kilograms of hashish worth around Rs15 million from his possession during a major operation in southern Punjab, 24NewsHD TV reported.

According to a spokesperson for the force, the suspect, identified as Habib Gul, was arrested near Sakhi Sarwar in the Dera Ghazi Khan district after authorities intercepted a narcotics shipment originating from the Koh-e-Suleman region.

Officials said the accused was allegedly transporting drugs from Kot Mithan towards different parts of Punjab and had been using the same route for narcotics trafficking activities.

The Counter Narcotics Force stated that Habib Gul was wanted in several cases related to drug dealing, smuggling and kidnapping for ransom.
