The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan will hold a judicial conference on Kashmir on October 20 in Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan aide Qamar Zaman Kaira will host the moot that will be participated by eminent retired judges, lawyers, and legal experts from AJK.

The judicial conference will consider possible legal options against the backdrop of the current situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir and the aftermath of the Indian illegal action of August 5, 2019. In this regard, a future action plan will also be formed.

This conference is part of a series the minister started under the supervision of Qamar Zaman Kaira, aiming at deliberations on a plan of action on the Kashmir issue.

Earlier, the ministry organized an all-party conference of all political parties of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the Kashmir issue in June.

The minister planned to hold another conference that would be participated by the figures from the education sector of Azad Kashmir including teachers and students.
