Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia on Saturday announced to join ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Azhar Abbas said that he was elected on the PML-N ticket but his party ignored him in all its meetings.
“I have old personal relations with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and his father. I used to meet them on which my party has concerns,” he explained the reasons behind leaving the N-league.
He said Buzdar provided millions of rupees development projects to those areas which were neglected for the last 40 years.
Chandia vowed to fulfill promises he made with his voters. He is an MPA from PP-269 (Muzaffargarh-II).
