Three terrorists killed in CTD operation near Nankana Sahib Interchange

Three terrorists were killed while their two companions fled away successfully during a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) operation near Nankana Sahib Interchange, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
A CTD spokesman said that they recovered 3 hand grenades, 3 detonators, safety fuse wire, two rifles, ammunition, and explosive material from the possession of dead terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Nankana Sahib Interchange.
The spokesman further revealed that they received credible information about the presence of terrorists in the Nankana Sahib area.
Soon after receiving the intelligence report, the CTD team reached the spot, after taking notice of the CTD team, terrorists started firing on them.
In exchange for firing, three terrorists were killed and two were critically injured, but they fled away. The CTD team raided different locations to arrest the terrorists.
According to the CTD spokesman, these terrorists were involved in planning to conduct major terrorist activity in Lahore.
The CTD team used all available resources to arrest the terrorists who fled away while measures were being taken to determine the identity of the dead terrorists.
