18 PU students arrested for protesting against IJT workers’ detention

Muslim Town Lahore police arrested 18 demonstrators who were protesting against the arrest of Islami Jamiat Tulaba workers at Punjab University, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to report, Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore leader Ahmed Salman Baloch was also arrested by the police.
Ahmed Salman Baloch was arrested by Muslim Town police station SHO Atif Malik and was locked up.
About 20 workers, including the Nazim of Jamiat-e-Islami Talaba Lahore, Abdullah Abbas, were also detained.
Muslim Town police detained 19 workers yesterday, but have not yet registered any case against them, nor they were released.
