6 soldiers martyred, 17 Indian-sponsored terrorists eliminated in KP, Balochistan
Six soldiers were martyred and 17 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in a raft of intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an ISPR statement released on Friday, six soldiers were martyred in an improvised explosive device attack on a military convoy in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ISPR statement said from 15-17 September 2026, 10 khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. While six brave sons of the soil paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.
On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces personnel in North Waziristan District. During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged khwarij location and after intense exchange of fire, six khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khwarij were sent to hell.
In another encounter that took place in Hangu District, troops successfully neutralized four more khwarij.
On 17 September, an improvised explosive device exploded on security forces convoy, resultantly, six brave sons of soil, rendered the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.
Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitization operations were conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by the security forces and the law-enforcement agencies personnel will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and -supported terrorism from the country. These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs, the ISPR statement said.
7 terrorists killed in Balochistan
The security forces personnel eliminated seven terrorists of Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan.
In the first operation which was conducted in Fateh Ali area of Panjgur District, security forces killed five terrorists of Fitna Al-Hindustan.
Two terrorists were sent to hell in another intelligence-based operaton in Kachhi area of Balochistan. There were also reports that a number of terrorists were also injured during the gunbattle with the security forces personnel, who also recovered a large quantity of weapons from their hideout.
