Ishaq Dar, British envoy discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation

British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Friday and discussed a variety of issues with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Discussions mainly centred on Pakistan-UK relations, and the understandings reached during the Deputy Prime Minister's recent visit to the UK in August, and ways to further strengthen cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of sustained high-level engagement and also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
