Rain forecast in upper parts
Heavy rain expected in Upper KP, Kashmir and GB; Experts see landslide due to heavy rain
The Meteorology Department has forecast rain with strong winds and thundershowers in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Punjab on Wednesday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
It added there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder in North and Central Baluchistan and Upper Sindh
Heavy rain is also expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Kirk, Lakki Marwat, Waziristan, Kurram, Waziristan, DIK, Bannu and Khyber districts are likely to receive rain with strong winds and thundershowers.
Hailstorm is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Balakot, Bo Nair, Khyber and Karam.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a risk of landslides due to heavy rain.
In Punjab, heavy winds and thundershowers are likely in Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Gujarat, and Narowal, Meteorological Department said, adding that there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder in Lahore, Hafizabad, Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Mianwali.
In other parts of the province, the weather will remain partly cloudy. Weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of Sindh.
