Punjab govt, PCB resolve pending issues amicably

 The Punjab government and Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday reached a consensus to resolve all their pending issues amicably, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.    

According to sources, a delegation of the Punjab government consisting of the Chief Secretary and provincial ministers including Wahab Riaz visited the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Friday and held a meeting with PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf and other PCB senior officials.

The sources said the meeting took place in a friendly environment as a result of which all previous issues were resolved amicably.

At the same time, the participants agreed that a new mechanism would be evolved so that future affairs could be conducted smoothly. They vowed to walk together in the best interest of masses.

Both parties during the meeting assured to provide the best facilities to the cricket fans during ACC Asia Cup matches to be held in Multan and Lahore.

They expressed their commitment that the fans will be provided with the best security arrangements so that they can enjoy the game.
