There was a strong possibility that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may allow spectators during the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The PSL administration has contacted the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), overseeing country’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, and sought permission for allowing spectators during the PSL sixth edition.
The final decision will rest with the NCOC and if allowed the Covid-10 SOPs will strictly be followed in the grounds as well as the stadiums.
According to the TV channel, the PCB administration is concerned that the absence of fans may impact the PSL new edition.
The PCB has contacted a private courier company for distribution of tickets of the matches to be played in Pakistan and also issued an advertisement for the sale of tickets.
A week ago, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had released the schedule of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.
The tournament will commence with defending champions Karachi Kings taking on Quetta Gladiators in the opening game on February 20 at National Stadium Karachi.
Following the announcement of the League finally, the fans expressed their excitement on social media and started counting days for the start of Pakistan’s only cricket league.
