Two blind dolphins rescued into Indus River

Two blind Indus dolphins were rescued after being found stuck in Rohri Canal in Sukkur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
This is the first rescue case of 2021 in comparison to last year when rescue teams recovered and helped return 18 lost dolphins back into the Indus River.

In this latest incident, rescue teams in an operation carried out in Rohri Canal recovered two dolphins that lost their way in the Indus River in search of food and got trapped in Rohri Canal.
Both dolphins travelled 85 kilometres in the wrong direction after losing track in the Indus River.
The two dolphins were safely released back into the Indus River at Sukkur, the TV channel reported.
