Four young girls drown in Sargodha canal

Four young girls drowned in a Sargodha canal on Sunday, while taking a bath on a hot summer day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The girls, aged between eight and 15, were residents of Sargodha’s Deendar Colony. They were taking a bath in Lower Jhelum Canal near Dera Saeen Jamal when they swept away by the strong water flow.
Late last month, a minor boy drowned in a canal in the jurisdiction of Bhalwal police. According to police, Muhammad Husnain (10) r/o Salmanpura, along with his elder brother, was taking bath in a canal when he drowned. He was shifted to a hospital in a serious condition where he died.
