MDCAT 2026 entrance test to be held on Aug 16

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has released Medical and Dental College Test (MDCAT) 2026 schedule, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to PM&DC, MDCAT schedule has been released for MBBS and BDS programme’s admissions.

MDCAT 2026 entrance test will be held on August 16 this year.

MDCAT will be held simultaneously across the country on Sunday, August 16 at 10:00 am.

Responsibility of conducting the test in Punjab has been assigned to University of Health Sciences Lahore, Sukkur IBA in Sindh, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Khyber Medical University and Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences Quetta in Balochistan.

Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan students’ responsibility assigned was assigned to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad.

Responsibility assigned to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad for candidates from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Online registration of candidates to start from June 22, 2026 through public notice.

Last date for registration with normal fee fixed as July 8, 2026 while late registration can be done till July 13, 2026.

Registration fee fixed at Rs9,000 for test centers established in Pakistan and late registration fee will be Rs13,000. 

Registration fee fixed at Rs45,000 for international test center.

Late registration fee fixed at Rs55,000 for international center.

All fees will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Candidates should complete registration within the stipulated period.
