Another Pakistani was succeeded in defeating the deadly coronavirus and was discharged from hospital in Islamabad on Thursday.
The 61-year-old man from Skardu was admitted to PIMS hospital some two weeks ago on returning from abroad. He underwent four tests for coronavirus confirmation.
His first test came out negative but underwent further tests as he was not feeling well even then. The second test came out positive. On his insistence, two more tests were conducted on him, both of which came out negative.
In the meanwhile, his health improved and the hospital authorities discharged him on Thursday giving him clean bill of health.
The man returned to Pakistan on February 23 after staying in Saudi Arabia for two weeks and then two-week stay in Iraq and Iran.
His recovery brought to five the number of people who were able to defeat the coronavirus. The country has so far reported 307 coronavirus cases.
