Govt announces Eidul Fitr holidays

The federal government has announced Eidul Fitr holiday starting from March 31, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the notification issued on Wednesday, the three Eid holidays will be observed on March 31 to April 2.

The Eid holiday package will be of five offdays after including the two weekly offdays of Saturday and Sunday.

Eid special trains

Railway authorities have decided to run five Eid special trains for the convenience of passengers on Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to Eid train schedule, the first train will be run between Karachi and Lahore on March 26 while the second Eid special train will be run between Lahore and Karachi on March 27.

Moreover, the third Eid special will be run between Karachi and Rawalpindi on March 27 while the Karachi to Lahore Eid special train will be operated on March 28.

Further, the Quetta to Peshawar Eid special train will be run on March 26 after getting permission from the security agencies.

In this regard, the Railway Headquarters has issued instructions to the officers of Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sukkur, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta divisions.
