Policeman shot dead in Nowshera

A policeman was killed on the spot when unidentified terrorists opened fire on him while he was driving a vehicle in Nowshera, reported 24NewsHd TV channel on Wednesday.

Local police said that during the firing, the policeman lost control of his vehicle after which the vehicle plunged into a ravine.

Soon after the incident, heavy contingent of police reached the area and shifted the dead body of the cop to a hospital for autopsy.

Police started a search operation in the area to apprehend the culprits and determine real cause behind the heinous crime.

Earlier on March 18, 2025, a police constable embraced martyrdom when gunmen targeted him on Chashma Road in DI Khan.

The martyred policeman was identified as Mohammad Ali, who was performing security duty with a DSP.

The policeman was heading home in Paharpur when he was shot dead.
