Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said Jahangir Tareen group will be with them during the upcoming budget session and they will vote in favor of the budget.

He was talking on Nasim Zehra @8 program of 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday. He said the PTI members of assemblies were with Jahangir Tareen because of Imran Khan. He, however, said that all the grouping in PTI would end soon.

“We have come with Imran Khan and will go with him too.”

He said he was not among those who met with the army chief. He said the ministers’ meeting with the army chief in this way was not right. He said Imran Khan could make a tough decision at any time.

“The Ring Road scandal was discussed in the cabinet meeting. The PM had asked Ghulam Sarwar Khan why would they had held the press conference when his name was not in the scandal,” he said, adding, “Had Zulfi Bokhari met with me, I would have asked him why would he had resigned when his name was not included in the Ring Road Scandal.” He said the resignation of Zulfi Bukhari was not a little thing.

Sheikh Rasheed said Imran Khan had ordered him to stand by the side of Punjab CM Usman Buzdar and Buzdar had admitted it himself. He said that they would bring new evidence in Hudabbiya Paper Mills Case.

He said Shehbaz Sharif was the only politician who was facing very serious cases. He said Shehbaz wanted to save himself in order to contest the next election.

“If I were in Imran Khan’s shoes, I would have permitted Shehbaz Sharif to fly abroad,” he said.

The interior minister said, “Although the people are not happy with us but still, they do not hate Imran Khan.”

On a question regarding the next elections, he said only Imran Khan knew when to go for the elections. Referring to the Sharif family’s cases, he accepted that they did not go to the courts with full preparations.

Regarding the ban on Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan, he said the religious-political party was still banned.
