Family feud turns deadly as six die in Peshawar clash

As many as six people were shot dead while one woman received critical injuries during a clash between two groups over a family feud in Peshawar on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The clash took place in Khattako Pul area of Peshawar. Soon after receiving the report of the incident, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured woman to Lady Reading Hospital due to her serious condition.

According to police, the armed clash between the two groups was due to old enmity.

They said they have registered a case and efforts were under way to apprehend the culprits.

Protest blocks traffic on Ring Road

Traffic remained suspended on Ring Road due to sit-in staged by angry heirs and relatives of six persons who were brutally killed in Peshawar.

The protesters placed the dead bodies on Ring Road after which all kind of traffic was suspended.

The protesters demanding the relevant officials to arrest the culprits on priority basis.
