PCB opens applications for Director of International Cricket Operations

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially advertised the position of Director of International Cricket Operations, seeking a qualified individual to lead the country’s global cricket engagements, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the job announcement, only candidates who have played Test or international cricket are eligible to apply. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is mandatory, with preference given to those possessing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of cricket, including the laws of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The role also requires the ability to influence and work effectively with professional players and coaches.

The Director of International Cricket Operations will be responsible for the planning and management of international cricket events involving Pakistan. This includes overseeing the preparation and approval of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for both domestic and overseas tours.

Additional responsibilities will include preparing for ICC meetings, reviewing changes in cricket regulations, and managing the budgets for international series and tournaments.

The role also includes monitoring the implementation of players’ central contracts, ensuring timely provision of team uniforms and equipment, and facilitating international logistics.

Applications are open until 5 pm on November 2, 2025, and the PCB has encouraged women applicants to apply, underlining its commitment to gender inclusivity in sports management.
