The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued travel advisory making mandatory the measures to stem the spread of Covid-19.
The passengers must keep putting on masks all the way to their destination and social distancing rule must be followed during interaction with crew and passengers, and seating arrangements.
The cabin crew leader, captain, must take pictures of seated passengers and these photos must be submitted to the airport management. Distancing rule must be enforced when the passengers leave the plane.
Last month, the CAA lifted a major coronavirus restriction for passengers coming from abroad to Pakistan after it decided to ease social distancing precautions.
Reportedly, the authority made mandatory for the passenger to take the RT-PCR test before boarding the flight without following social distancing precautions during the seating arrangement.
However, the airlines who are not making the RT-PCR test mandatory should keep the adjacent seat vacant. On the other hand, passengers who will have a negative PCR report conducted before 72 hours of the departure will not have to follow the seating restrictions.
