Security forces operation in North Waziristan, 5 terrorists killed

Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation on the reported presence of terrorists in the North Waziristan district on Sunday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during an intense exchange of fire, five terrorists are killed are identified as Habib Nawaz alias Shakil, Waheed Ullah, Abdur Rehman, and Muhammad Ullah.

Identification of the 5th terrorist is in progress, the ISPR said adding that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists which include submachine guns, hand grenades and a large number of multiple calibre rounds.

The killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces target killing and kidnapping for ransom.

Meanwhile, Sepoy Shabbir Ahmed (28 years old) embraced shahadat during an intense firefight. He was a resident of Quetta.
