A fire erupted in a house located in Islamabad’s F-7 sector and caused a lot of damage to the vehicles and valuables, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.  

The owner of the house claimed that the fire was caused by a lightning strike. As a result, two cars parked inside the garage were gutted along with several other valuable items in the home.

Pertinent to mention that Islamabad is experiencing a severe thunderstorm today.

The fire was extinguished by the Municipal Corporation of Islamabad (MCI) teams. After getting information about the incident, Kohsar police also reached the spot. 

According to the Fire brigade officials, it is not possible to immediately determine the cause of the fire.
