MSF says employee seriously wounded in DR Congo's North Kivu
The medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said one of its staff members was in a life-threatening condition after being seriously wounded by a bullet Thursday in DR Congo's North Kivu province.
"This morning, one of our colleagues on duty at the MSF base in Masisi was seriously injured by a bullet -- one of many bullets to hit our premises over recent weeks. Unfortunately, his life is in danger," Stephan Goetghebuer, MSF head of programmes, said in a statement.
