Govt accelerates high-level appointments' process before end of term

The federal government has accelerated the process of important appointments before the end of the term, 24News HD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to sources, the Federal government has appointed Naeemuddin Khan as the Chairman of the Board of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).

For this purpose, the Federal Cabinet approved a summary of the appointment of the ZTBL Chairman through circulation, the sources said adding that he is appointed for three years.

Pertinent to mention here that Nadeem Lodhi resigned from the post of the Chairman of the Board of the ZTBL last year.

The federal cabinet approved Nadeem Lodhi's resignation on August 10, 2022, and was accepted it with effect from March 11, 2022.
