A Pakistani Army soldier embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack in Hangu District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR on Wednesday, terrorists opened fire at a military post in the Thall area of District Hangu on Tuesday night.

The Pakistani troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists.

During the exchange of fire, Sepoy Waqas, age 26 years, resident of Mansehra embraced Shahadat (martyrdom).

The ISPR statement said an operation was underway for the area clearance to eliminate any terrorists found.
