Significant decrease in gold prices in Pakistan

Following the devaluation of the dollar against Pakistani currency, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decrease on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the jewellers association, the per tola price of the 24 karats of pure gold decreased by Rs2,500.

After this decrease, the per tola price of the 24 karats of gold has reached Rs1,47,900.

The prices of 10 grams of gold of 24 karats are also decreased by Rs2,144 to Rs1,26,800.

The per tola price of 22 karats of gold has reached Rs1,16,234.

The gold prices in the international market have increased by $2 per ounce to $1,637 per ounce.

The prices of 24 karats pure silver remained stable as one tola of silver was being traded for Rs1,590 and 10gram of Silver for Rs1,363.16.
