Hacking of MP’s WhatsApp account sets alarm bells ringing

Now even members of the parliament (MPs) are on the hitlist of hackers as the WhatsApp account of Parliamentary Secretary for Science and Technology Dr. Nighat Shakeel has been hacked, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
It has been learnt that the hackers have now started demanding money from Dr. Nighat’s contacts.
In her complaint submitted to the National Cyber Crimes Investigation Agency, she has said that her WhatsApp account has not been recovered despite the passage of one day. “The hackers have now started demanding money from my close contacts,” she has added.
She has further said that the hackers’ activities have made the MPs quite worried.
