Thatta Cement Company Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Minsk Work Tractor & Assembling (Private) Limited has entered into an accord with OJSC Minsk Tractor Works, Belarus, for establishing local tractor production capabilities in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Thatta Cement Company Limited also informed Pakistan Stock Exchange through a letter in this regard.

Under the terms of the exclusive arrangement, OJSC Minsk Tractor Works has granted MWTA the sole rights to assemble Belarus tractors within Balochistan.

This partnership represents a strategic initiative aimed at promoting local industrial development while creating employment opportunities and facilitating technology transfer to the region.

The establishment of a local tractor assembly facility is expected to address the agricultural machinery needs of Balochistan while contributing to the broader industrialization efforts in the province.

The accord signifies a major strategic development for the Company's subsidiary. Management indicated that the venture is anticipated to positively impact the long-term growth trajectory and diversification of the Thatta Cement Group's business portfolio.
