Adil Bashir named APTMA chairman

A special meeting of leaders of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) was held at the APTMA head office on Saturday.
On this occasion, APTMA leaders named Adil Bashir as new chairman of the association. Muhammad Raza Baqir was elected APTMA Punjab General Secretary.
Adil Bashir thanked all of them for picking him for the post. He said that APTMA will achieve more in the coming days with the help of the government. He said that today’s meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar went very well.
APTMA Senior Vice Chairman Abdur Rahim Nasir, APTMA Member Hamid Zaman, APTMA Treasurer Kamran Arshad, APTMA Punjab Vice-Chairman Amir Sheikh and APTMA former chairman Ali Pervez Malik attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Nadeem Babar said the government would not handover LNG to the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). He said it could take the government four years to increase production. He said the federal government was thankful to the Sindh government for listening to the federation. He said he would go to Sindh next week to sort out various issues.
