The Punjab government has released a notification of Rs32000 per month minimum salary of a worker and labourer.

The Punjab government issued the notification of minimum wage on the order of the Punjab Chief Minister.

The minimum salary for working eight hours a day will be Rs1230.77.

The wage board sent the draft to raise the minimum wages of workers to Rs32,000 for suggestions and recommendations in April. 

On August 26, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi decided to put the proposal in the cabinet meeting that okayed it.
