PM Imran will undergo coronavirus test: Dr Faisal Sultan

Prime Minister’s Focal Person on COVID-19 and top trusted physician Dr Faisal Sultan said that as per the advice Prime Minister Imran Khan will undergo coronavirus test as he met with philanthropist Faisal Edhi who later tested positive for COVID-19.
Dr Faisal Sultan was addressing a news conference along with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Dr Faisal suggested the prime minister undergo for the CPVID-19 test keeping in view the situation after Faisal Edhi – the head of Edhi Foundation – was tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.
This news was shared by the Sindh Health Department which had earlier conducted his test for the virus. When contacted, the report was confirmed by Faisal Edhi who was currently in Islamabad.
There were also reports that Faisal Edhi’s son has also been tested positive for coronavirus.

Faisal Edhi had met Prime Minister Imran Khan last week and gave him a cheque of Rs10 million for the Prime Minister’s Coronavirus Relief Fund.
Dr Faisal Sultan is also the CEO of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospitals and Research Centres. He was appointed as PM’s lead and focal person on COVID-19 on March 24 last.
He said 192 deaths have been reported in Pakistan so far and 17 people lost their lives yesterday.
PM Focal Person on Coronavirus stressed people to take measures to curb the novel coronavirus.
