An earthquake of mild intensity struck the commercial capital of Pakistan on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The epicenter of the earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter Scale was recorded 72 kilometres northeast of Karachi. Its depth was 15 kilometres under the ground.

No report of any damage or loss of life was received so far.
