PM decides to replace PCB Chairman Mani with Rameez Raja

Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday decided to replace Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani, 24News HD TV channel reported.
According to the report, the PM was dissatisfied with the PCB chairman's performance and decided not to extend his contract for the post anymore.
The report said that Imran Khan who himself was one of the legendary cricketers of the world wanted to appoint a cricketer as the chairman of PCB.
The report said that the former cricketer and friend of the PM Rameez Raja has become a strong candidate for the PCB chairmanship.
The term of the sitting chairman of the PCB Ehsan Mani was being expired on August 24.
The report said that Ehsan Mani had failed to deliver as per the expectations of the PM to elevate national cricket at any level.
Rameez Raja who was and extensively experienced as a commentator and well aware of the modern cricket too had become strongest candidate for the slot.
Anyhow, the PM would announce the new PCB chairman within a couple of days.
