Salman Khan steals the show at Sohail Khan’s birthday bash

Sohail Khan’s birthday celebration on Saturday turned into a star-studded family gathering, with the entire Khan household coming together to mark the occasion in style. Held at a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai in India, the intimate yet high-profile bash saw the presence of close family members and friends from the film industry.

The celebration brought together Sohail’s father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, stepmother Helen, siblings Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, sister Arpita Khan Sharma, and other relatives.

Sohail made a fashionable entrance, dressed in a denim shirt paired with matching trousers. Smiling and visibly cheerful, he greeted attendees warmly and paused to pose for photographers with folded hands before heading inside the venue.

While the evening was about Sohail, it was Salman Khan’s arrival that drew maximum attention.

The superstar arrived under tight security, instantly commanding the spotlight. He kept his look casual yet sharp in a navy blue polo T-shirt, black denim jeans, and matching boots, and acknowledged the paparazzi with his signature ‘salaam’ gesture.

Arbaaz Khan also made an appearance, wearing a red T-shirt teamed with white trousers. He was seen courteously asking photographers not to take pictures of his newborn child. Notably, Arbaaz had a cast on his hand, reportedly due to a recent wrist injury.

Apart from the Khan family, several well-known names from the film industry attended the celebration. Among those spotted were filmmakers Vikas Bahl and Pragya Yadav, producers Ramesh Taurani and Daboo Malik, and Jyoti Malik.

Videos circulating on social media captured warm moments from the party, including Sohail cutting two cakes while surrounded by family members, who were seen feeding him cake and celebrating the milestone.

Sohail Khan has also been in the news recently for a different reason.

A video of him riding a motorcycle on the streets of Bandra without a helmet went viral, triggering widespread criticism online. Addressing the backlash, the actor issued a public apology and appealed to fellow riders to prioritise safety.

“I would like to request all bike riders to please wear helmets. I avoid wearing them at times as I feel claustrophobic, but that is no excuse for not wearing one. Riding has always been my passion since childhood."

"It began with BMX cycles, and now I ride bikes. I mostly ride late at night, when there is not much traffic, to minimise risks, that too at a slow pace and with my car following me,” he wrote on Instagram.

Sohail added, "I assure fellow riders that I will make a genuine effort to overcome my claustrophobia and wear a helmet, so please bear with me. My sincere apologies to the traffic authorities, and I assure them that I will follow all the rules henceforth. I salute all riders who wear their helmets at all times despite the discomfort, as it is necessary for our safety. It is better to be safe than sorry. Once again, I am really sorry.”

On the professional front, Sohail Khan was last seen in the 2025 Telugu film Arjun: Son of Vyjayanthi. Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri and produced by N. T. R. Arts and Ashoka Creations, the film features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti in lead roles, alongside Saiee Manjrekar, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Srikanth, and R. Sarathkumar.

The film is described as a spiritual sequel to the 1990 classic Karthavyam and was released in April, receiving mixed responses from critics.
