A banking court in Lahore on Thursday extended the protective bail granted to Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and his son Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz in a money laundering case until January 28 after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) failed to submit the challan to the court to which the case had been transferred, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the hearing, the court also nagged the FIA officials for not submitting the case challan to Special Judge Central Court.

The term of the bail granted to both father and son by the court expired today.
