97 CDA officers, employees made OSDs

In a major administrative shake-up, 97 officers and employees of Capital Development Authority (CDA) were made Officer on Special Duty (OSD) with immediate effect and until further orders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, after the directives of the Capital Development Authority Chairman, all these employees were asked to report Human Resource Department (HRD). 

These employees were performing their duties in land, engineering, revenue, planning, and accounts departments in BS-4 to BS-16.

Sources said that many complaints were received against these employees. The complaints include corruption, indiscipline, and using authority beyond means.

The Capital Development Authority also launched inquiries against these employees.

An inquiry committee comprising officials from security and technical branches will be constituted to determine the fate of these employees.
