Gold prices jump high again

The gold prices in Pakistan have increased by Rs500 per tola to settle at Rs1,44,500 per tola after witnessing a hike in the dollar rate in Pakistan on Thursday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA) has said that the price of 24 karats of pure gold settled at Rs1,44,500 per tola.

The association said the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs428 to settle at Rs1,23,885.

In the international market, the price of the yellow metal was reduced by $26 per ounce to settle at $1,682.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs1,354.60.
